Tale of a Charabanc

Relationships has no limits. I have come across entire gamut of relationship but last day taught me something more than what we all have experienced. How can an object, jinxed for someone, make your day miserable. Of course it did. No more guesses, its about our special friend Tanmaiy and our charabanc on which we usually ride in the streets and corners of Bangalore. Yeah we got this jeep around one year back and we have some cherisable memories associated with it. Right from its first day, it was the centre of attraction and also a part of some controversies rightaway. Hardly you will find such an auto parked in the campus of a b school for sure. This vehicle displaying the rugged independence had made our life more interesting and fascinating in lot of respects. Students were captivated or perplexed to be more precise with a mere glance of this spacious vehicle. May be this idea of having a open jeep in the campus went beyond their imagination but everyone had enjoyed the sturdy yet adventurous rides in the jeep. Initially people used to get loaded in some real numbers(12) for a spin to infosys market nearby. When the monster is out on the roads, best on the road will give you a glare and you will feel special. Plan was always there to buy a SUV and climate down here boosted our decision and we had to go for it. After then the machine had its low moments too, it kept on standing motionless for a couple of months. But finally we have decided to get it running this time around since I don’t wanna miss a single joyride possible in the last few months of my freedom.

Yesterday was a devils day for sure since after a long and tiring day of push n pull around the jeep and after spending a reasonable amount of moolah, we could not get it running. Instead we had a minor accident on the way back when the speeder Mr Tanmaiy did it again. Yes my friend, on the way back jeep fell into the pit – courtesy Bombay Boy. How can a rider care to miss a 3 * 3 pit and so finally had to gather nearby people and use the power of 2800 cc SUV to get back on road. It was a daunting task. If someone missed the last trauma we went through I must tell you it was a real nightmare when Mumbaikar slammed the jeep right into the truck and we ended in spending atleast 5 hours in the Shoolagiri police station. God save people from such incubus!!!! Well few things are for sure , Tanmaiy would not be seen driving jeep often , I have survived his attempts to kill me (lol) and we don’t give a damn even if he destroy the jeep one day since I believe "True friendship is like sound health; the value of it is seldom known until it be lost."

You might be wondering that I missed the controversies associated with jeep. Well the latest in the kitty is issuing of another notice from our authoritarian administration. This time around they called me and told me to remove the jeep from campus for its misuse for alcohol, drinking n some other objectionable stuff. What will be your reaction to dis???
I was furious and shocked. What else I could do, I refused to accept the letter and completely denied it. Well when the college head is busy accusing you of most paltry activities in the college , you need to carry on and ignore it. Well whatever they say, students love it and they love to chill in this SUV even when it is parked outside the college. I love it and now I wanna go for voyage and explore the nature that surrounds me. Are u coming???

My Goa Compendium

Well I was never in two minds about writing this entry since the jaunt to goa was unforgettable and amusing. This trip didn’t started with any fracas or argument with my parents but was a premeditated and a contrived one. Goa has always been close to my hearts for its festive mood and high spirited people;) Though no one had shared great rapport with each other before this voyage but eventually everyone formed a bond with each one and had special place for each other and feeling of philia was developed. Another exciting aspect about the excursion was the encounter of some amusing and funny people(Jamie the Wolf, oooooo) in concourse of events in Goa which completely entraced each one of us. Beauty of a place like Goa entices everyone around it.
Talking candidly about the people in Goa,well definitely I have to start with no one else but Scandy, its been a long time since I met such an interesting and jovial personality. Impressed by her would be an overstatement but even uninfluenced would be an understatement. Best part of her was being flashy and dashy yet elegant and dignified.Initially a bit reluctant but eventually ended up in enjoyin the rides and of course who could forget the peppy bollywood songs!!!

Sneha was funny in her own moves and even me and Dhanda gelled well with her, may be being from same region. Sneha marked the trip with an unfortunate accident which not many will forget especially Ajay. (Sneha NEVER TRY ACTIVA again..lol).

Time spent with Neha was memorable and I could really spot some of her personality trait never known before. Well have to say she is gem of a person with adorable managing and social skills.

Adyasha was enjoyin her time there and usually we had some unfinished conversations which were brought to end with either of us loosin out to the high spirits. But her taste of music was appreciable. For Chinki I think this blog would not be sufficient. May be I need some more space for detailed description of her activities. May be Sudeep n Tanmaiy could help me out in this:():)

Nilofer ka to bas pooch mat yaar. She was funny in high spirits. My moves always kept her laughin. Well Sudeep and Alok could definitely explain the tyrannies of that evening when the bike was misplaced. Sudeep had a rockin evening that day with his Tour de Goa experience was definitely worth a ride with a sizzling pillion company. Sudeep laughter was the talk of the town coz he never stopped it and filled the milieu with joy and fun.

Alok was nice company in the trip and we definitely shared some great moments especially the evening at “sunny side up” was memorable with both of us gazing at the stars and playing around with imaginations.
The night me, Ajay n Scandy were sittin outside fiesta can’t be described in words with either of us hardly getting what each one was saying but yet we gave company to each other for a long time sitting idle and mockin boozers coming out of Mambo. Lalit, Dhanda , me n Tanmaiy had a good time sharing the same room. All of us had their high moments. Ivy incident has not to be mentioned.

Bacchanalia was the trademark of time spent on the most pretty coastline in the country and we all were going along the brouhaha of the environment in Goa.
Time fly by there and the world goes upside down in a few minutes, well I thinks that’s the beauty of this place here as you don’t have to assimilate the thoughts of responsibilities of the order of the day. Everything’s so relaxed in here and randomness decides the day’s fate. I think that Goa is the best place to vegetate after the hectic schedule of studies but feasibility of the visit here looks bleak.I can't forget this odyssey...Goa is calling us???
